Zoe Metcalfe-Klaw

Zoe is an open-hearted yogi who is honored to share her passion for yoga with others. She was introduced to yoga while in acting school, and a few years later found herself falling in love with the practice. She started to crave the physicality of it as well as the quieting of the mind that followed. She later made her way towards the heat because of a childhood knee injury and discovered Modo shortly after, where she reconnected with her practice and gained newfound mobility in her knee. Zoe was certified in the Modo Level 1 training under the guidance of Ted Grand, Jessica Robertson, and Dina Tsouluhas in Los Angeles in January 2014.

She strives to help her students connect with themselves and the world through the profound power of breath and movement. As an actor she loves exploring the connection between art and yoga. Her yoga practice continues to keep her rooted in the present and in an ongoing dialogue with the planet. One of her favorite things about yoga is that it can be practiced anywhere and can be made accessible to everyone: she has guided classes on the beach, in a high school classroom, and at an outdoor festival. She is grateful to be a part of the powerful and loving Modo community.
