Michelle began her journey into yoga ten years ago at Moksha Yoga in Montreal while studying International Development at McGill University. Invigorated by Dina Tsouluhas’ powerflow classes, she committed to developing her yoga practice and journey of personal growth.
In 2009 she completed a 200 hour vinyasa teacher training program at Pure Yoga. Led by the motto of “27 different styles, one intention”, she completed diverse workshops during the training: Restorative, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Back Care, Yin, Pre-Natal, and Alignment with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman. After graduating, she mentored with Marco Rojas where she was immersed in his alignment-based vinyasa technique drawing on the tantric concept of transcendental involution to evolution of consciousness and following the Krishnamacharya tradition.
Eager to travel and share her thirst for adventure, Michelle flew to Brazil in 2011 where she taught yoga and led hiking treks to backpackers south of Rio de Janeiro in the Mata-Atlantica rainforest.

As a dedicated student of yoga, first and foremost, Michelle is humbled to share her passion for yoga and guide others on their path of self-improvement while celebrating our inherent fallibility.
